Meet

Dr. Terri Trogen

Hi, I’m Dr. Terri Trogen and I’ve been a dentist for almost 30 years…wow that seems like a long time when you see that number in print!  But it’s only a number, right? Anyway, I’m a University of Minnesota grad all the way, with my undergrad degree in Psychology and my doctorate from the University of MN School of Dentistry. After I graduated, I went back to the U as an associate clinical instructor on the floor in the Department of Prosthodontics. For anyone not familiar with Prosthodontics, it involves fixed prosthodontics, which is crown & bridge, and now implants, and removable prosthodontics which is dentures and partial dentures. So needless to say, I’m pretty familiar with restoring teeth!  I absolutely love giving people their smile back!  That’s my professional life, but my life away from the office is fun too!

I’m a native of western Wisconsin…if you know where Somerset is (Apple River tubing), I’m from 8 miles east of there, a town called New Richmond. So, being a native from WI, y’all know what that means… I’m a die-hard Packer fan!
I’m also a huge animal lover and I have some huge animals! I have a 4-year-old English Mastiff, a 5-year-old Great Dane, and more than a few Maine Coon Cats that I breed/show. My outside huge animal is my 11 year old Percheron/spotted draft horse, Sebastian. Basically, I work when I get home from work, but it’s worth every minute and I wouldn’t change a thing!

So, if you have dental concerns, want to improve your smile, are anxious about dental work, let’s talk about it. No judgment, no selling, just honest talk about the best option(s) for you!

Meet

Dr. Katie Marquis

Hello! I am Dr. Kate Marquis. I currently live in Hopkins with my wonderful husband (Dustin), our baby (Dax), and dog (Bunsen). Dustin and I met working as chemists (hence the dog name, bunsen burner) right after I graduated undergrad from the University of Minnesota (UMN).  I have wanted to become a dentist since I was little and was overjoyed to be able to complete that dream by staying at the UMN. After dental school, I completed a general practice residency at Hennepin County Medical Center. I gained extensive knowledge in complex restorative cases including crowns, bridges, dentures, partials, extractions, root canals, and emergency care. Since then I have become certified in Invisalign and same day crowns.  I am an active learner and continuously look for ways to improve the care and quality of my work for my patients.
