An adventurous spirit. Having lived across the country, Dr. Avant has trekked around the world. An avid camper, you’ll want to ask her about some of her run-ins with nature.
Dedicated Athlete. An International Figure Skating champ, you could say Dr. Avant grew up on ice skates. To this day ice skating is her passion and teaches it to a new generation of up and coming figure skaters.
Hey there! I’m Mikaela Maier, a dentist with a passion for creating smiles and improving oral health. Originally from Brooklyn Park, MN, I pursued my undergraduate degree and Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of Minnesota.
Afterward, I delved into an Advanced Education of General Dentistry program with Health Partners and Regions Hospital, honing my skills to provide top-notch care.
When I’m not in the dental chair, you can find me cherishing moments with my niece, nephew, and loyal dog. I thrive on adventures, whether it’s traveling, diving into a good book, belting out tunes at karaoke, or soaking up the sun while boating on the lake.
Meeting new people every day is a highlight of my job. It’s a privilege to connect with patients, understand their needs, and help them achieve optimal oral health. Let’s embark on a journey to a healthier, happier smile together!
Minnesota born and raised, Christina grew up in a small town called Taylors Falls, located one hour north east of the Twin Cities. Having grown up with an abundance of nature, she loves camping, kayaking, visiting sunflower fields, and strolls along the waterways. She wishes to do an excursion one of these days; camping and kayaking at the Apostle Islands.
In her spare time, she enjoys cooking delicious meals, taking picnics and spending time with her many nieces and nephews. Crazy fun fact! She has over 30 nieces and nephews! Her year is filled with endless birthdays and celebrations a plenty.
